DIY Pokeball Candy Holder

DIY Pokeball Candy Holder

Seeking a rad and totally epic way to hook up your candy-craving self or your equally nerdy buddy with a gift that screams “I get you”? Look no further, fellow geek! Feast your eyes on the Pokeball Candy Holders – the ultimate fusion of fandom and sweetness that’s bound to make your nerdy heart skip a beat.

What You Will Need:

  • Black Cardstock
  • Red Cardstock
  • White Cardstock
  • Pokeball SVG File
  • Vinyl Cutting Machine
  • Glue Stick or Glue Gun
  • Round Candy of Choice (we use Lindt Chocolate Candies)

Step 1: Download Your Pokeball Candy Holder File

Step 2: Open Your Vinyl Cutting Machine Software and import/upload the SVG File.

Step 3: Size your Pokeball to the required size to barely fit around your candy (lay your candy on your mat to measure). You want the center hole to barely cover the candy

Step 4: Load your vinyl cutting mats with the cardstock in your chosen colors (we did traditional red, white, and black). And push GO! (or whatever your machine says)

Step 5: Remove pieces from your mats

Step 6: Fold your black main piece in half so the two sides are even. Open and glue your small red and white pieces to the underside of your black main piece. Allow to dry fully. (I’ll be honest a glue stick was easier and less messier than a glue gun, use the purple glue sticks!)
